This is a special & unique time for you to bond with your baby and for you to rest and nurture yourself.


What to expect...

You will be led through a flow of adapted yoga postures (asanas) designed to create for you comfort, stability, space and support for the physical changes that your body is experiencing. You will learn techniques that can help you to improve circulation and give relief for feelings of depression, stress & tension.

Pregnancy Yoga Benefits

It's advisable to start your pregnancy yoga journey as early as possible once you are in your second trimester and then continue throughout your pregnancy. Pregnancy yoga is suitable from 14 weeks pregnancy. 

Whether you are a beginner to yoga or are used to a regular yoga practice you will benefit from this softer, more intuitive practice using your mind, body and spirit to connect you to yourself and your baby.  Allowing you to feel more confident and empowered.

Pregnancy yoga benefits include:

  • Breathing practices (pranayama), visualisation, sound, meditation and deep relaxation are explored to soothe and calm and connect you with your own intuitive wisdom as well as aid in labour and birth.

  • Pelvic floor awareness helps to strengthen and protect before and after birth.

  • The practices are designed to sustain you throughout your pregnancy and help prepare you for birthing and labour.

  • Practices can help to deeply relax you for better sleep. Nurture your body and mind. Strengthen and deepen your understanding of your body.

Bookings are for on-going 6 week blocks (valid for 6 consecutive weeks) for £72.  Or 6 week flexi (valid for 8 weeks), once you are at 37-40 weeks you might like to purchase a Drop-in class £14; which is offered on a discretionary basis by prior arrangement.
